We eat, and you could say that as we’re eating we’re …

We eat, and you could say that as we’re eating we’re transforming the earth… Why, yes, have you ever thought about the deeper meaning behind the act of eating? It is earth that humans eat, earth that’s somewhat refined, of course, in the form of vegetables and fruit, but earth all the same. They absorb this earth, digest it and then reject it. They are continually absorbing, digesting and rejecting… But beyond this physical, mechanical process, which everyone is familiar with, there are so many exchanges taking place on the subtle planes! The matter that human beings absorb provides them with the elements it contains, and, in its turn, it receives something from them, from their feelings, thoughts and aspirations. This is why the earth is no longer the same as it was in the distant past; it is much more evolved, subtler and more intelligent, because all the creatures that have come to incarnate on the earth have worked with it. And this is how it will become luminous and crystalline, thanks to the spirit of the people who have worked with it.
