Even if people implore heaven to give them light, if they have not worked to transform their way of life, the light they receive will not be reliable. Why not? Because heaven’s response is necessarily distorted by the layers of impurities accumulated within them. It is exactly the same phenomenon as when you dip a stick into water: it seems to be broken. Yes, even messages from the divine world can be distorted if they are seen through an impure medium. If you want to receive a clear, limpid, reliable answer from heaven, you are going to have to make the effort to purify yourselves, to become nobler and more detached. Otherwise, the risk of error is so great that it would be better not even to listen to what you pick up. Many people have a certain gift for mediumship and clairvoyance, and it is true that they pick up elements from the invisible world, but these elements are so mixed with others that it is better not to rely on them.
