Biologists and chemists carry out research in their …

Biologists and chemists carry out research in their laboratories and achieve results. Well and good, but why do they neglect the inner laboratories that nature has placed within them? If they recognized the existence of these laboratories, they would be able to do just as interesting studies and achieve just as extraordinary results. This is only one example among so many. It is in all fields that people concentrate on their outer achievements to the detriment of the inner ones. Why is it that things of beauty are always outside of man and not inside? So many people will say, 'Come and see my workshop, my garage, my factory, my garden... See the nice dress I made, the appetizing cake I prepared for you...' They would never dare to say, 'Come and visit my head, my heart,' because they know that this is the home of all their disorders and unleashed passions, and that is not so nice to see. And yet this is the work they should be doing from now on: laying out their inner garden so that they can invite their friends to visit it.
