There are so many different, contradictory opinions being …

There are so many different, contradictory opinions being bandied about in the world! And yet each person expressing their opinion claims to be in the right. How is it they cannot agree on what they call the truth? It’s very simple: it’s because their opinions reflect the degree to which their heart and mind are developed. When someone says, ‘I think this or that is true…’, it’s ‘their’ truth, and it’s speaking to you from a heart and mind that can be either deficient and distorted or highly developed. If truth were independent of the activity of the heart and mind, everyone would have to agree and arrive at the same truth. But this is not the case; on the contrary, whatever the subject, no one is in agreement. Except those, of course, who possess true love and true wisdom: they have discovered the same truths, which is why they all speak the same universal language.
