Silence is not an end in itself. In silence we prepare conditions which are favourable for the coming of divine entities. These entities love silence and are always waiting for these conditions which human beings very rarely afford them. The more evolved someone becomes, the greater his need for silence. He feels that in this apparent absence of life, he can in fact taste true life. For true life, life lived intensely, is a living silence.
