Jesus said to his disciples: ‘And remember, I am with you until the end of the age.’ This means that he has not left the earth. Christ as the cosmic Principle which incarnated in Jesus is still here and continues to work. He has left the physical earth but lives forever in the spiritual earth, ‘the land of the living’ mentioned in the Psalms, and from there he protects, enlightens and guides all those who desire to walk in the light. It is said that after his death Jesus ascended into heaven, and this is true. He is in heaven – his whole being is in heaven – but he works on earth. You really must understand this. We live on earth with our antennae in heaven, whereas Jesus’ entire being is in heaven, but his work, his ‘headquarters’, so to speak, are here on earth. This is where he has made his dwelling, surrounded by all his servants, and it is here, by means of thought, that we must seek him and take part in his work.
