People say: ‘There is no accounting for taste’ to justify …

People say: ‘There is no accounting for taste’ to justify their right to their own feelings and opinions. It is obviously not your place to try to impose your ideas, your convictions or your rules on others. You must let them be. As for yourself, however, try to become sensitive to what constitutes a norm in heaven’s eyes. What is good and beautiful according to the criteria of the soul and spirit is universally good and beautiful for all. It is only in terms of quantity that you are each entitled to your tastes, not in terms of the quality or nature of what you choose. You must always choose what is pure, luminous and divine. There is a multitude of angels and archangels in the universe. No one will reproach you for making friends with one angel rather than another, and you can stay with this angel as long as you want. But if you choose a devil, just for a change, because this seems more original or more exciting, you will never be justified in heaven’s eyes.
