For years you have been accumulating in your head and your heart so much that is useless and even harmful. Why? Because you lack discernment. You accumulate everything indiscriminately, whether it be good, bad, essential or superfluous. And then you complain that you are not making any progress, that you are trying hard, but to no avail. Well, the reason is very simple: you have not yet understood that first of all you must work at clearing out. Yes, sort out and get rid of all that goes contrary to your spiritual ideal. Your entire life must be in harmony with your ideal, but to leave this ideal left forgotten somewhere at the back of your mind is not much use. Review all your diverse tastes, projects, points of view and activities, analyse them carefully, and you will see that many of them tie you down to lower realms of consciousness which, until you abandon them, keep you from all hope of progressing. So, since this is the beginning of a new year, understand that the most important task for you is to have a grand sorting out. Try to retain only those elements and activities which vibrate in harmony with the light of initiatic science. Every day remember to give them priority, strengthening them and deepening your commitment to them. Thanks to this work of simplification, clarification, purification, you will one day become like a diamond: transparent, resistant and precious. Yes, hold this image of a diamond in your mind.
