Intelligence, wisdom and purity give us great powers. Love does as well, of course, for it is an alchemist and transforms everything. Thanks to love, you are able to overcome negative states: pain, sadness, anger, hatred… But it is truth which brings you the greatest force, a force which nothing can overcome. Truth belongs to the world of the spirit, and it is in the spirit that we find true power. Jesus said: ‘You shall know the truth and the truth will make you free.’ In order to become free, we must possess this true force, which wisdom by itself does not have; many sages have not been able to liberate themselves. Even love by itself cannot free us entirely. This can only be accomplished by truth, in other words by the union of wisdom and love, and this union is realized in the spirit.
