Initiatic Science explains that the spirits of evil attack humans by enveloping them in thick fluids, like black clouds, but, if the point of a blade is directed at them, these fluids disintegrate and the dark entities retreat. It is said that Paracelsus possessed a sword which he used to repel the currents of hatred that pursued him. His science, his knowledge and also his character had attracted many enemies, who plotted his downfall. So, when he felt attacked in the invisible world by the dark forces projected onto him, he brandished his sword and wielded it in all directions. But, of course, brandishing a weapon is not enough to rid yourself of dark entities. You must already possess this weapon within yourself: a well-trained will, directed by lucid, powerful thought and sustained by a feeling of disinterested love. Yes, physical weapons are not much help in spiritual life, and I do not advise you to use them. In order to win real victories, you must work with your mind, your heart and your will.
