Certain people with gifts of mediumship or clairvoyance claim they are able to pick up messages from the invisible world. But what they call ‘messages’ are more often than not made up of disparate elements and should be regarded with caution and even distrust. The invisible world consists of two regions (we will say two for simplicity’s sake): a lower one and a higher one. It is therefore populated not only by good, luminous entities who are full of benevolence towards human beings but also by dark entities whose greatest pleasure is to toy with humans. Only the purity, nobility and harmony emanating from a person can testify to the authenticity of the messages he receives. Of course, mediumship is a faculty we must appreciate, since it is not given to everyone, but if it is to be practised correctly it calls for great self-discipline.
