For centuries Christians have repeated time and again that the flesh is weak; this is the reason they have despised the physical body. But what ignorance! In itself, the body is neutral, the intermediary through which we manifest our thoughts and feelings. It doesn’t force us to commit all sorts of excess and madness. We can also undertake magnificent feats with our body as intermediary. And I will even tell you our body is the best instrument we have for moving closer to God. Yes, when God created the physical body, he placed within it all the elements we need to find heavenly order and harmony. The structure of the human body is an open book which teaches us how to return to the Creator, for it is the reflection of his wisdom, goodness and beauty.
