Because it is not always easy to find one’s way, many …

Because it is not always easy to find one’s way, many people are reluctant to enter into the spiritual world for fear of getting lost. It is true that this can happen, just as one can get lost at sea without a compass. But compasses exist in the spiritual world too, and the day of arrival in port is quite dazzling. Besides, it is possible to go in the right direction without being able to see the way. Think of sailors in a submarine – what can they see to guide them in the depths of the ocean? Nothing at all. But the submarine is equipped with instruments which enable the captain to undertake the voyage without any difficulties. Human beings are like a submarine; they are internally equipped with all they need to find their way. But this equipment has become rusty through lack of use during their various reincarnations, or it is unreliable due to their chaotic lifestyle in their present life, and it is up to them now to get this equipment back into full working order.
