So many people mistakenly believe that if no one is physically present with them they are really alone! Can’t they sense all the creatures of the invisible world around them? It is their inner state, of course, that determines the nature of these presences. It may be angels, entities of light, who come to visit them, or shadowy creatures from the astral world which prowl around them, looking to feed off the emanations of their impassioned states. When people give way to their instincts, to coarse pleasures, they unconsciously open their doors to evil entities which come to feast off all the energies they release. This is what hell is: the state of those who allow themselves to be invaded by the entities of darkness by giving them food. Everyone who is driven by instincts and passions nourishes and reinforces these entities. If you are to be free of them, you must consecrate your body, your time and all your activities every day to God.
