Many people consider subjectivity to be something dangerous …

Many people consider subjectivity to be something dangerous that we should do our best to be rid of, claiming that only what is objective is scientific and real. Well, this shows a lack of understanding. The objective world is made up of elements that may be studied, measured, and weighed, because these are material elements, which always present themselves in the same way and are observable as such by everyone. Whereas the subjective world (thoughts, feelings, emotions, consciousness) is in perpetual motion and is not perceived by everyone in the same way. It is thus impossible to take hold of it and immobilise it in order to measure and classify it. But if the subjective world is in perpetual motion, this is because everything within it is alive. It is here that we are in contact with life, and is this not preferable, even though this life is not 'scientific'?
