Worries, pain - call on thought, which knows how to remedy everything

Do you imagine that a sage is always impassive and unmoved by feelings or emotions? Not at all! They can sometimes experience terrible inner storms, veritable tornadoes. But when this happens they know how to avoid being swept away: instead of submitting helplessly to the inner turmoil, they immediately concentrate and meditate so as to regain their inner peace. This is the difference between a sage and an ordinary human being. This is why I keep insisting on the mental factor, for it is very important to understand that the faculty of thought must be given first place in your lives. At the first sign of inner distress or sorrow, summon your faculties of thought. Unfortunately, when it comes to agitating, troubling or gnawing at you, your thoughts are willing allies. But when you want to restore a state of inner peace and light, you do not seem to know how to involve your mental faculties. It is time you worked at this. Are you worried about something or in pain? Call on thought to help you, for when thought is present, it knows how to harmonize and remedy the situation.*
