Snowdrop - its strength and power reside in its love

Look at a snowdrop: what strength, what power it has to be able to command the snow and the earth – ‘Go on, make way, I want to come out!’ And yet, it is so fragile, with petals so tender and delicate that a mere nothing can bruise them. But the earth and snow obey and give way to it. What is this power that compels the earth to open up? The snowdrop possesses incredible power in its tiny stem peeking through, and it triumphs. Love always triumphs. And what about you? Are you not far stronger and more powerful than a snowdrop? You are, indeed, only you do not know how to go about it. Tell the difficult events, circumstances, obstacles and barriers: ‘Come on, let me through, I want to get out! I want to free myself, to admire Creation and to pray. Clear the way!’ And you continue, you persist the way a snowdrop does until the day you emerge and arise triumphant.*
