Joyfulness - gives, sadness takes

Do not expect others to bring you life, love and joy. You must first open up the sources of life, love and joy within yourself. In order to receive, you must start by giving. And you possess so many hidden treasures! Why should there be no sign of them on the outside? Put aside all the reasons you have for being sad, and look instead for those you have for being joyful. With joyfulness you give, and with sadness you take. If some days you can no longer laugh, it is because you have strayed from the right path. You have worries… But then you meet a relative, a friend or simply an acquaintance. Make an effort to find something interesting, something nice, to tell them, or even an amusing anecdote. Laugh together! By doing them good, you will also do yourself some good, because what they feel will be echoed back to you and will lighten your load.
