Human being - is defined by his two natures Human being lower and higher

However evolved they may be, all human beings who incarnate on earth bear within them the seeds of both the lower and higher worlds. A baby in its cradle looks so innocent, but wait a few years! What characterises man is that he is both a divinity and an animal. Yes, it is the meeting of these two natures, divine and animal, which makes him human. He cannot separate himself from either one, but he must allow them to grow alongside one another and work to reconcile them. It is thanks to this reconciliation that we can pursue our upward journey during our life on earth. If we ask a great master why evil exists, he will not reply; he will simply teach us to work with it, so that it collaborates in the realisation of good.
