Feelings, Bad - harm those who experience them before harming those who inspire them

Someone has done or said something that irritates you, and there you go telling everyone that you are furious, and why. They try to calm you down, saying that it is not that serious, that you would do better to drop the matter and think of something else. But no, you carry on fretting and railing against ‘that idiot, that moron who is going to pay for it!’ Meanwhile, that idiot, that moron, is sitting quietly at home, well way from your cries and your agitation. So, who is suffering from your anger? First those around you, your parents and your friends, who don’t deserve to have their lives disturbed in this way. But actually, the one who suffers most is you. For you always feel the currents of your psychic life passing through you first, before they reach other people. Those who decide to live in harmony are the first to benefit from this harmony, and those who give in to anger or to the desire for revenge are the first to be destroyed. They may end up destroying others too, but they do the most harm to themselves. And if they are not careful, the disturbance they have created within themselves will follow them into their next incarnation.
