Pain, physical - a warning

It is important to understand the significance of physical pain: it warns us that we have strayed from the right path. If we did not suffer, we would go straight to our grave. There is nothing more dangerous than an illness that takes a hold without the slightest warning, because often, once the pain appears and alerts us, the damage is irreparable. That is why, before rushing for medication to stop the pain as soon as you feel it, start by asking yourself what has caused it, and try to see where you have been careless or negligent. You will still be able to use any necessary remedies, but first ask yourself what the cause of the illness might be. If you don’t heed the warnings the pain is giving you, you will be allowing the problem to take hold, and it will become increasingly difficult to combat.
