Imitation - how to use this law

We, as humans, have a particular physical appearance, which allows people to identify us: certain of our physical features are unmistakable. But inwardly we have the ability to identify with everything that exists, and in fact we do this more or less unconsciously all day long: through imitation, something within us is constantly identifying with what we touch, see or hear. So, we must be vigilant! Every day we must stop for a few moments to ask ourselves what and whom we are identifying with. For sooner or later we will become those very people and things. And Jesus, who said, ‘I am the light of the world,’ also said, ‘You are the light of the world.’ It is therefore light we must identify with, so that one day we may truly become this light.
