Like a seed that will one day become a grass, a flower, or …

Like a seed that will one day become a grass, a flower, or a tree, a cell is the point of departure for all living organisms. All that will appear and take form one day is already there, contained as potential in a cell. It is thus, starting from one original cell, that our five senses and our different organs have made their appearance within us; and still others will appear in the future. The visible world is made in the image of the invisible world, so that if we possess five senses in the physical world, it is because we also possess five senses in the astral world, and in the mental world as well. Thus, when human beings become fully developed, they will have an extraordinary ability to see, feel, listen, taste, act, and travel to higher worlds. A living person, a living cell, or even simply a micro-organism contains infinite possibilities, and it therefore takes infinite time for them to make their appearance. This is the mystery and the splendour of life.
