It is impossible to find one’s way or to work in the dark. …

It is impossible to find one’s way or to work in the dark. From all points of view and in every sphere, light must take pride of place. You all understand this in your daily lives. As soon as dusk falls, you light your streets and houses; when you wake in the night you switch on the light; if you have to venture out in the dark, you take a torch; and when there is a power outage, you light candles. However, when it comes to finding your way in life, what do you do? You change jobs, move to a new country, you leave your family, take on a project, get married, and have children – and you do so without turning on a lamp, without asking for light. That is why you are constantly on a collision course with people and situations, forever hurting yourself and hurting others. So, look for light, ask for light.
