Elixir of immortal life - Even when humans stopped believing in gods who held feasts where they were served nectar and ambrosia

Even when humans stopped believing in gods who held feasts where they were served nectar and ambrosia, this did not stop their preoccupation with the search for an elixir, a drink of immortality, a search which continues to this day. In reality this elixir is found everywhere in the earth, in water, in the air, and above all in the sun’s rays. So this is where we can collect it from, as we learn to wisely and lovingly use everything in nature that the Creator has placed at our disposal. It is understandable that everyone seeks to stay alive and in good health for as long as possible, but human beings are not meant to remain on the earth indefinitely; at some point or other they must leave their physical body. We say that they die, but in fact they continue to live: their spirit remains alive. If they aspire to immortality, it is because deep down they have the intuition that they really are immortal. But they are immortal in their spirit, not in their physical body. Humans’ consciousness of immortality, as of eternity, is a triumph of the spiritual life. So, they should learn to give much greater importance and meaning to their daily activities, and gradually they will succeed in quenching their thirst at the springs of eternal life.
