Changing your life - is difficult, but you must persevere

Although you sincerely want to give up some of your bad habits, it is not easy, and it is important to be aware of this. Before engaging in a spiritual movement, disciples have not yet been instructed in the rules of Initiatic Science and live more or less however they like. But as soon as they have glimpsed a more beautiful, richer life and decided to accept this life, their entire inner being becomes a veritable battlefield, because, of course, their old habits have not disappeared. There are conflicts between the old life that’s there with all its demands and the new life that wants to be established. And disciples suffer, they are unhappy, and at times they are overwhelmed by feelings of discouragement. But you have to persevere. Whatever happens, try in a measured way, without forcing anything, to persevere in your efforts, and eventually one day you will triumph. Then you will no longer suffer, you will no longer struggle: everything within you will be orderly and harmonious, and at last you will know what true life is.
