Bat - lesson we can draw from its ability to avoid obstacles

How instructive animals can be for us! Some have habits, behaviours and character traits that can really give us food for thought. Look at bats, for example. There can be tens, hundreds of them flying in the dark in a narrow cave, but they never collide with the walls or with one another, because they have a kind of radar that enables them to avoid obstacles. The bat: there’s an example human beings would do well to ponder, since they have no awareness of their movements, their words or their facial expressions! They are always taking offence, jostling and coming up against each other. You know what I am talking about, don’t you? Well, moving skilfully among other people is quite an art, and you can practise it by developing the inner radar known as respect and awareness.
