Activity - and passivity; the ajna chakra

If you have worked hard and feel exhausted, instead of going to lie down or downing cups of coffee or some other form of stimulant that’s supposed to re-energize you, know that there are simple exercises you can do. Here is one example. Sit down and concentrate on the centre between the eyes which the Hindus call the ajna chakra. Try not to think of anything; just breathe, and let yourself float as if on an ocean of light. Gradually, in this passive state, which is really another form of activity, you will feel peace and harmony spreading through you. This will allow you to draw energies, very subtle fluids, from the atmosphere, and you will be recharged, ready to return to work and fulfil your obligations.
